Concern was originally founded in 1972 as an advocacy organization. For over 40 years, they have provided supportive services to individuals and families. Being among the first operators of licensed community residences in Suffolk County, Concern has grown to one of the largest housing agencies of its kind in New York State with over 220 locations, one of which is Concern Riverhead in Long Island.
Concern Riverhead is a 50-bed assisted living facility providing permanent, supportive housing for adults with psychiatric disabilities. Concern Riverhead underwent interior and exterior renovations as well as the restoration of its historic structure. Additionally, the facility features a full-service kitchen, cafeteria, activity spaces and an administration office.
